group 1: i love the who, but i'd have to say aerosmith because i went to school with jesse cramer, and joe perry also went to my old boarding school back in the late 60s...so gotta have love for the band...
group 2: gotta say simple plan because, well they are the only one i really know much about. haha. but i used to listen to them back in the day

The first group. The reason is that most of them are older bands and that sound is unbeatable and they are still popular today. Nickle back rocks in group 2 and will rank with the older bands some day
Some that you missed or coarse Pink Floyd , Supertramp. Led Zep, and Bob Seger.

actually i'd have to say both because they are 2 totally different groups. the 1st group is a little bit of older not as much known rock and the 2nd group is the supposedly "trendy" music of the day. i like all of those bands though. sum 41 deserves more attention than what they have gotten

Hmm...despite the fact that Group one million is higher for essentially the most facet, I'm hesistant to decide on it considering the fact that of Marilyn Manson. Group two has its redeeming values too. If through Underoath and LP, you imply historic Underoath and historic LP...then Group two could win. It's in most cases a tie. Group one million could possess if it wasn't for #one million...simply my opinion even though.

I'd have to go with the first band. I like them cuz they have talent and more depth to their music rather than the new music groups are coming out with.

Definately Group one because i like classic rock better than the current sensations

I like a mix of both.....some of the songs are catchy, some bands have deep and inspiring lyrics, some are just eye candy, and some songs I wanna shake my *** too.

Grp 1. Can't really pinpoint the reason why but I'm def more familiar w/the grp 1 artists & their songs.

I like Nickelback and Simple Plan; they have a lot of songs that stand out and they don't care what others think of them. I especially love Nickelback's "Savin Me" and Simple Plan's "Shut Up!"
