hair loss depends on the mothers side of the family, stop wearing baseball hats, rolgain prevents hairloss, but it has side effects so be careful.

hair loss depends on your genes. you can't stop it nor can you slow it down.
well, if your dad's bald you have a pretty higher chance of being bald too.
But try these too:
1. Use the shampoo Mane and Tail, this shampoo is made for horses (I think) it makes your hair follicles thicker.
2. Stop using baseball caps, coz it irritates your scalp and the heat from your scalp can't "escape" that easily, and that may cause some problem. (Just look at the athletes)
3. And I think the sweat has something to do with it too.
4. If you're braiding your hair, stop it.
5. For more info..http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hair_loss
6. To slow down, or if ever you're already having some "patches" this might help http://www.hairlosslearningcenter.org/

The best pill for it now is Dutasteride. You can order generic forms of it online. It's supposed to be better than Propecia since it blocks both enzimes that cause testosterone to turn into DHT - Propecia only blocks one. The link below explains how it works and also has links for ordering.
Don't bother with it though until you know for sure you need it. Baldness sometimes skips a generation and it comes from the mother not the father.

yes, my brother had that problem too, he was using gel a lot, avoid that if you can. use it for the tips and very rarely. bryll cream would be alright.
my brother was loosing a lot of hair, so someone told him to get his head shaved first, and straight away, come home and grind some onions and put them on your head for 5 minutes, when they are dry. take em off and have a bath, you'll get good hair coming, and all the bald patches will grow hair again, i swear this works. it may sound stupid or funny, but it works. my brother got good, dark hair now, i can't see the bald spots now and he uses olive oil for his hair sometimes, they truly work. i promise, bye
