Dizzy: There are two types of dizziness, vertigo and light-headedness. Vertigo is where the room spins, and can be associated with inner ear problems. Viral infections are the most common culprit, but persistent vertigo is a sign of Meniere's disease, a chronic disorder of the inner ear.
Light-headedness is due to blood pressure drop in the brain, and can be due to dehydration.
If I was guessing sound like you have a viral illness like a cold or the flu. However if your headache is severe, associated with a high fever (100.5 or higher) or rash, or if light hurts your eyes you should go to an emergency room.

um, i'm not sure if this is what might be wrong with you or not, but last month in school in first period after the bell rang i quickly stood up and felt a rush to my head and all of the sudden became really dizzy and everything got blurry. i fainted for a couple of minutes and went to the doctor and they said i had a lot of stress or worries and to just take it easy, and that if i fainted again, then i should seek medical help. i would go to the doctor just to be safe.

If this happens often, see an endocrinologist and get your thyroid checked. There is a more extensive blood test that will test your thyroid function - I used to faint all the time until I started taking thyroid replacement.
Other causes can be hypoglycemia, dehydration and orthostatic hypotension (blood pressure doesn't correct properly when you change positions).
Take care of yourself - hope you feel better.

orthostatic hypotension?
try having your blood pressure taken laying down and then when you quicky rise up, and if there's a change then you have orthostatic hypotension, like i do.

might be dehidration. whenever i feel dizzy and get headrushes when i stand up its usually because i havent drunken (drank? i dunno) enough fluids. so i go down 2 liters of gatorade and it really helps a lot.
