Hi,
I'm tempted to say "The Fugitive" but that would be an unfair advantage.
So, I just love "Coming Home" an old film with Jane Fonda and Jon Voight (about men returning from Vietnam).
"Love Actually" is sharing first place with "Forrest Gump", "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest" and "Crash".
Or anything at all with Harrison Ford. Ha Ha

Movies from when I were young seem to be my favorites: Legend, Labyrinth, Dark Crystal, Lost Boys, Willow. However some other favorites (various genres) are: Blue Velvet, Cannibal Holocaust, Stir of Echoes, Braveheart, Mothman Prophecies, Signs, Sixth Sense, Pink Flamingos, If These Walls Could Talk, The Audition, Suspiria, American Beauty, Sybil, White Oleander, Black Sabbath, Salo, Escape from Sobibore, Vampyres, American History X, Pumpkinhead, Night of the Living Dead, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Vampire Hunter D, Gladiator, The Forsaken, Heavy Metal, Mists of Avalon, Interview with the Vampire, The Others, and The Hours.

I honestly don't have just one, but some of my #1 favorites would be... The Last Dragon... Love and Basketball... Boomerang...The Best Man... Tristan & Isolde... Annapolis... Memoirs of a Geisha... Love Jones... Saw II & III... The Wiz... All of the Rocky movies... Just to name a few.

tough to answer cause im sort of a movie fanatic but...
i really liked (and some of the ones that stuck in my mind)
Saints and Soldiers (nazi war movie)
Kingdom of Heaven (i reallly liked this one. kinda old-age action)
Under the Tuscan Sun (love/chick flick-ish)
Friday, Next Friday, Friday After Next (fridays are always good)
these are all movies that dont get a lot of advertisement.
the newer movies are all good (waist deep, x men, etc) but im sure youve seen plenty of advertisement on those and you would know for yourself whether youd like it or not.

If you are into independent films, check out Babel (out in theaters), Tape (Uma Thurman and Eathan Hawk), All about my mother. One the lighter independent side, love Rushmore.
My all time silly movie is Dumb and Dumber tho'. I LOVE that movie..think I've seen it 30 times! :-)
