Would it be possible to slam a '92 Toyota MR2 engine into an '85 MR2? (different body style, size and mechanics obviously) And if so.. how much differance in performance would it make/Would it be worth it? I would appretiate input from anyone, but esspetially other MR2 drivers. Thanks.

Yes it would be very possible. The engine your planning to install is a 3SGE 2.0 DOHC off a SW20 (90 and above). Its going to take some work to get it to run in your tight handling little SW11. If your serious about this swap check out www.toysport.com these guys are insane Toyota Mad Scientist. They have very good knowledge of High Performace Toyota's. The owner even owns a 67' Toyota 2000GT (1 out of 5 in the USA). So check it out.
