The more you worry about it, the more you'll stress yourself out about it. I've found that out of all the times I've worried about something turning out really badly, ALMOST ALL of the time, my worries were for nothing. Picture the worst thing that can happen: you might have an erection while the doc is palpating your penis and testicles. So what? They are trained for dealing with healing human beings, and that is what they are concerned with. They will just blow it off (PUN INTENDED; I MEAN, HOW MANY TIMES IN LIFE CAN I USE THIS PARTICULAR PUN IN CONVERSATION AND HAVE IT FIT SO PERFECTLY!?) Seriously, they are trained to handle erections, er, I mean, you know what I mean... That is my point: when things go awry, I find that a sense of humour does wonders to deal with it. Chances are, you are going to be in one of those stupid gowns that don't do up right, and show your butt, so you're standing there tugging at it; the doc will do the "turn your head and cough" thing, so you accidentally cough on him and say you're sorry, and the worst that will happen is your dick might get firm because it is feeling a touch that is not your own (and an erection can be set off by tight clothing rubbing against yourself). What usually happens is NOTHING, or your penis might get a little larger in the flaccid stage. It's not a big deal (no pun intended this time). If it does happen, ignore it and move on. If you feel awkward (and of course you will no matter what you're told), use humour if you feel you must respond, and say something cool like, "I'm glad I'm working okay down there," or something similarly clever. What I'm trying to tell you is that almost all of the time, it does not happen; if it does, oh well. Don't let this keep you from going to the doctor's. Your health is more important, and the possibility of an inappropriate time for an erection is nothing to get stressed out about. Good luck, dude.

The white bumps are normal but have them checked out anyway if you are concerned. You probably won't have to get hard in front of the doctor. Just describe them to him. Of course if it's an attractive female doctor...well boners sometimes just happen, and believe me doctors of both sizes have seen them before. You wouldn't be exaggerating about the size of your dick just a little bit would you? And no, jacking off is NOT what's causing those little white bumps dude!

(This hasn't happened to me.)
Why would men do this? Would you rather become very sick or die?
Doctors do not see the situation as sexual or emotional. They are there to help you. If you are aroused they won't care. Men get erections for many different reasons, It can be caused if your bladder is full or randomly. A doctor (especially male doctors) will know that. Don't worry about it, you probably won't get aroused and if you do it doesn't matter.
Now turn and cough.

It actually dosn't happen a lot. As a doc, I've had to examine many penises and none have ever "enlarged" in front of me! Don't worry if it does, we're trained to be quite cool about things, you can't really surprise us with anything.
A few young female nurses though have this problem when catheterising men!

I was a little embarrassed the first time a Dr. examined me, but they are all business and have ways keep it from being a problem. I get a complete (and I mean COMPLETE) examination of my skin, all over. I had melanoma and every year I get the exam. Everywhere there is skin, where it is rolled up, and where the sun does NOT shine, but that is better than dying of cancer!

Dont worry about it. Its pefectly normal. Doctors wouldent care any way (unless he is a she). Unless you get some really attractive female doctor i wouldent worry about it. Plus it will be the last thing on your mind. It never "enlargens" while it is being examended (unless you get exiceted hahaha).

Honestly, I wouldn't worry about it if I were you. Doctors are used to seeing that kind of thing, and don't think anything of it. Just see a male doctor if you're really worried about it.
