Say for instance, you begin working as a career letter carrier, do that for 10-15 years or so and in your spare time (nights/weekends, etc), you get a degree. Do they allow you to move from being a carrier to an administrative/office type position if you have the necessary credentials. Any information is appreciated. Thanks

Absolutely. My father started as a clerk, got an associates degree in accounting and eventually became an assistant postmaster. Other jobs were available but he got the one he wanted, so can you.

My nephew started at the bottom and has worked his way to manager of his own ups.
