Are you looking at private schools? I have heard good things about Curtis which is in the greater LA area. Brentwood lower school. Harvard Westlake. Where does she go now? Where do most kids go from there?

Go the extra mile, and drive out to ventura and go to Anacapa Middle School. My son goes there and it is the best for music. He and the music instructor, Mr. Hutchison, have a love to hate him/hate to love him relationship! Of course if your daughter is gifted she will have great opportunities to expand her horizons in the schools GATE program.
