What is the relationship between wave length and energy?

Let me think.....Planck's constant is in there I'm sure......

E=hf

Energy = Planck's constant x Frequency

Frequency = 1/wavelength

So E=h/wavelength

So as wavelength increases energy decreases according to my memory.

Check this because I haven't done this stuff for a while.

For photons, the longer the wavelength, the lower the energy.
