yes. go online to your phone manufacturer's web page and they should have a service where you can send a text message to a phone from your computer.
you have to enter a phone number as the sender, but it doesn't have to be yours.

you can not block your # when you are sending a text message to someone from your cell phone but you can block your # if you are sending a text message threw the Internet. http://www.smseverywhere.com/block.htm

not yet there isnt not if ur sending long distant msgs. but if ur sending it 2 sum1 in the room check there bluetooth is on and write the msg as a note and it allows u 2 send it via bluetooth. b carefull hu u send it 2 tho as people can steal n access ur files thru their phone even if ur bluetooth is off n use ur credit 2 make their calls.

try sending it online. if you know the service that the person uses, you can go to that website (for example, if they use t-mobile go to tmobile.com) and send them a message from there. that way you can put your name on it if you want but they won't get a number.
