I just phoned eb games (6pm) and tried again a bit later. No one is picking up. they are supposed to close at 9pm/10pm on weekdays.
Should I just go and chance it ($10 cab ride) or should I wait for someone to answer the phone or wait till tomarow?

I went into gamestop (partners with EB) yesterday and they only had one employee working, this could be the case.
I know today is Pearl Harbor anniversay, but stores don't close on this day. They should be open.

You can try calling another location and see if the store's supposed to be open. Maybe the worker blew off his shift or something. Also the store could be really busy.
Either way, I think waiting until tomorrow is your best bet.

It's not a holiday that I know of. Maybe they're just overly busy with customers and can't get to the phone quickly enough.
Edit: Pearl Harbor Day isn't an observed holiday.
