ok I give up! in QUAKE 2 where is the elevator to the factory,and how do I get there?

also I can't get into the area where it says access denied (this is in the mine somewhere I dont remember where.

Did you turn on the ventillation system?

You enter the mineshaft, down the hall, rocket launcher to the right, elevator to the left of the big "grinders."

Up the elevator, then to the right.

Outside, and there's a BIG PIT with the flying guys overhead who squalk at you when you shoot them.

To the RIGHT of the pit, there's a passage down. Follow that, and then there's a passage UP. Keep going and I believe you'll enter the ventillation area (don't remember the exact sequence, sorry).
