My son just made the honor roll this grade period and his birthday is in the same month as christmas he deserves something very special for his achievments but i don't have the funds to do so.

Then tell him you will reward him later when you do have the money. Tell him why, especially since he is a bright child, and that deferring pleasure for a short time might hurt a little now, but that in the long run it is the best thing.

You may recieve loans on you're federal tax forums and also you can do taxes and owe the government for 2 issued forums then your person or the IRS that did youre taxes will owe for doing 2 forums and file for them twice. You can also just go to Jackson Hewitt Tax Service com .

Good for him...but no you must wait to file your taxes to get a refund. $2000.00 is a big prize for the honor roll for one grade period. No if he can do it consistently throughout the year...that's worth something...but even then he should be required to bank it till he graduates.
That's a lot of money...expecially so from someone who doesn't have it to give.

I dont know how you could do something like that we dont have our W2's yet. I would say not to that question. You may want to try to get a extra job during this time they always have temp jobs at this time

is he old enough to understand that money is tight? If he can wait until you get your taxes he will get something great, but right now it will have to be small.

you can't do it unless you have your tax return prepared already
(I doubt you have your w2's) but a place like H n R block will give a loan againsdt your tax return, but be careful, they screw you with financing
