Bethlehem. I'm not a devout Christian, but being that this is pretty much a faith-based holiday, I'd like to see just where the Big J was born and what locals do to mark this presumably blessed event. I'm curious to see if they decorate trees, hang stockings, sing carols, or hold church services.
Outside of that, a Christmas in London celebrated Dickens-style would intrigue me. Goose, plum pudding, ale, etc. might be good!

I rather be home for the Christmas but if I do end up spending Christmas elsewhere I would want to go to Germany. They have excellent Christmas traditions there.

At the Hyatte on Peir 66 Ft. Lauderdale Fl.
The morning by the pool, the afternoon on
the beach. Or on a 300 ft. yacht.

Oh, there's no place like home for the holidays
'Cause no matter how far away you roam
When you pine for the sunshine of a friendly gaze
For the holidays you can't beat home, sweet home
I met a man who lives in Tennessee
And he was headin' for
Pennsylvania and some homemade pumpkin pie
From Pennsylvania folks are trav'lin' down
To Dixie's sunny shore
From Atlantic to Pacific, gee,
The traffic is terrific!
Oh, there's no place like home for the holidays
'Cause no matter how far away you roam
If you want to be happy in a million ways
For the holidays you can't beat home, sweet home

I would love to spend Christmas, with my good friends going with me, at a ski resort, even though I can't ski and would never learn, but that way we could gather in front of a huge fireplace with a roaring fire in it, drinking hot toddies or spiked eggnog or even spiked apple cider and just hang out and visit.

I agree New York is where I would like to spend the holiday. Anywhere is good as long as I'm with family.
