I don't have kids yet, they would be born there.... oh and by the way African isn't a race either, we all came from Africa at one time.

Your kids were born American.Just like getting citizenship here you would probably have to do the same thing in Africa.

Usually, when a child is born somewhere other than that of their parents, they will be awarded "dual citizenship". Then, when the child becomes of legal age, they must choose "where" they belong.

no, your kids would remain american, until you apply for citizenship to whichever african country you move to. they would become african by acquiring, but they would still be american by naturalization.
