Kim Y - bull... I'm a Christian, and I'm PERFECTLY capable of going through life without forcing others to adhere to my belief system. I do NOT need the government to pay for creches, marble depictions of the Ten Commandments, or Christmas music blared through the streets to retain my faith and my religion. I do NOT need my school system to lead prayers - I do NOT need the school system to have religious holiday pageants - I do NOT need the school system to allow teachers to teach Intelligent Design - to pray, to go to church, to have a Christian household, and to lead a Christian life.

Of course, that's because my idea of leading a Christian life is following the words of Christ, and NOT telling others how to live their lives or how to worship or what to believe.

I do not live in any kind of fear of being ostracized for being Christian in America. In fact, it's dishonest to say so. Christians make up almost 80% of this country. We are HARDLY in danger of being forced to live in caves.

Besides, the fish on my car has legs.

My faith may be 2000 years old - but my thinking is not.

Little by little, piece by piece, silently so silently the war against the Christian builds momentum. Christians in Africa and Mexico and Latin America are being murdered by the truckload and very little gets publicized by the American press.

The adage of "politically correct" has become a very handy tool for satan these days. What was to be a term to equalize has become used as a form of discrimination. We Christians may be forced again to return to the caves to worship, with the secret symbol of the fish to clarify friend or foe.

everybody should wear what they want to

then everybody is happy , except those trying to limit the rights of others

wear a cross, headscarf, yamulka, whatever

If I started a company, all those would be allowed

actually, this is in response to forbidiing muslim women to wear burkas. If you want to forbid them to wear burkas, then you need to forbid people of other religions from wearing religious icons as well. this is in response to anti muslim sentiment. Hope you realize that

I'll go with that.Wear a cross if you want.

Even if it does represent something ugly and reactionary against human nature.

Yeah, I think it is hypocricy and double standards to the extreme. Liberal Politically Correct people never seem to see the contradictions. It is really a sad shame the UK has come to this. But it is the fault of your own do-gooder mentality, your seeking to please and overtolerance and a bad free for all immigration policy which has gotten you into this mess.
you are sleeping in the bed you made for yourselves.
The only way to undo it is to get in as many conservatives as possible.
vote BNP if you love your country.

I agree. It is angry Islamists and the Liberals who cater to them that make any sort of religious expression difficult, unless you are Muslim that is. The truth is that Liberals are cowards who hope that the Islamists don't cut their heads off. This is the reason they pretend to agree with them.

I am thoroughly sick of hearing about political correctness.

Why can't we all leave each other alone and just live together.
