I always recommend either a Bosch Line or Dealer for plugs and wires on an import..

Stay away from Fancy..just go with OEM style to get best economy for your money...

If they are the silicone kind yes. Some spark plug wires will jump spark from the wire to the engine brand new. The high end ones if they are good quality won't.
But you can get away with the cheaper ones if you make sure the wires don't touch each other, or come too close to anything metal. If you have the kind of spark plugs that are resest into the valve cover the cheap ones will sometimes jump spark through the boot to the valve cover. So you do usually get what you pay for.

high end 8mm minimum silicone wires are a good place to start
