You've lucked out, not many people are lucky enough like you to have that connection in the front of their stereo.

All you need is a cable called a Mini to Mini cable. Its basically a cable with a headphone jack at both ends. One end will plug into your headphone jack on the iPod, and the other will connect to the input on your car stereo. Then using the controls on your stereo switch it from radio or CD to the Auxiliary input.

The cables are available from $5 - $30 depending on the quality of sound that you want. Monster Cable has one, Peripheral (iSimple) has one as do pretty much any other cable companies. You can walk into Best Buy, Circuit City or Radio Shack for the cables with no problem. Just tell them you need a Mini to Mini cable.

Hope this helped.

1/8" stereo male to 1/8" stereo male cable. That'll do the trick! Available at any Radio Shack, Best Buy or Circuit City.

DON'T get an FM modulator that the other guy is suggesting!! This completely defeats the purpose of having the auxiliary input jack on your car!

I also wouldn't suggest calling it just a mini to mini cable either. There are mono cables with the same plugs and also subminiature plugs which are 3/32" who some may confuse for mini. Best to use the size and state that it's stereo, too. In the off chance you get a knowledgeable employee to help you, you can tell him what you plan on doing with it, too ;-)

Hey, my sister has an 07' Scion TC and she too has an auxiliary adapter. What she uses is an adapter cord, it's a cord about two feet long, and has plugs on both ends that looks like CD headphone plugs, but on both ends. Plug on end into that slot, and the other into your iPod. The volume can be controlled by your car, but the iPod will be the main volume control. The louder you set your iPod, the louder your car will play it. Hope this is hopeful. Enjoy you music.

you get the cable that looks just like your headphone jack, on both ends.
you plug one end into the Ipod, the other into the radio.
Most radios have an AUX button or such that allows you to use the input jack as the 'source'.
