The Beast- Kong
The Beauty- The Chic
The Beauty killed the beast cos of fascination of the Kong with the Chic. A trail of events later & he saw her as a personal possession. Kinda like his pet whom he was very protective of.
When he was captured, (The reason he was captured in the first place was cos of his kidnapping of the Chic & then following her when she escaped. If i recally clearly, she was used as bait to capure him! ) he had no will to fight back till he realised the chic wasn't the one with him. Then, HE HAD TO FIND HER in the city= Pandemonium & commotion!
Then, when Kong found her, he headed for the top of the tower cos he thot they were safer there.
Even when the helicopters shot their missiles at him, Kong was more interested in protecting her. He fought with one hand whilst protecting the Chic until the very end.
In the end, Beauty (the Chic) did not kill the Beast (Kong) literarily BUT, it was the trail of events following his fascination with the beautiful,enchanting woman that led to his death right form the first moment Kong kidnapped her till the last moment he protected her!
It really was Beauty that Killed the Beast!

King Kong would rather put himself in serious danger to be with her, than be without her. He basically gave his life knowingly just to be near her. He could have ran away at any point when he was being hurt, but he didn't.

Because of the woman he left himself open to be killed......he was more interested in her than he was in protecting himself.
