To remove a president, he must first be impeached by the House of Representatives, then removed by the Senate after a trial. The Senate has to vote to remove the President by a 2/3rd margin, currently 67 votes. At that point, the Vice-President becomes the President.
This has never happened in the history of the United States.

Of course, there is a path to punish a corrupt or immoral President.
Consider President Clinton, who had sex with an intern (considered sexual harassment by rules enacted by the Democrats) and then lied to a Grand Jury about it.
The first thing that happened was that Clinton was disbarred for his act of perjury.
The US congress then pressed Impeachment upon him, and he was Impeached. He could have been removed from office as well, but they did not vote for that.
To clarify, the process of removal is Impeachment and then removal, although you don't need to do both.

It's called "voting".
Impeachment is not the correct response, as mere error or unwise choices are not legally sufficient to support Articles of Impeachment.
And, by the way, you make some pretty inaccurate assumptions about how accountable CEOs and generals are. History indicates that your assumptions are only rarely proven correct.

Yes there is. It's an executive order empowering the ' real ' power behind
' government ' to execute the Chief Executive/Commander in Chief. I forget if it's a name or a general order number, though. It was a while back I saw this in public print.

Since Carter & Clinton were completely worthless, I don't think anything can be done.
If it could have been, both of them would have been kicked out.
