As a christian, i believe that you get to heaven by being born again, that is to give your life to the living God and declare that you love him and trust in him and leading a honest life, being honest to yourself and to others, treating people with respect, giving to the poor and just being good as humans no one is perfect so we do wrongs but asking for forgiveness is important.

Being honest to yourself and to others, treating people with respect, giving to the poor and just being good as humans will not get you to heaven. It comes with being a good christian, but as it says in the bible, "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast." Ephesians 2:8-9
