The fog on your window is slippery and hard to wipe off? Your heater core is leaking coolant(and therefor not heating up enough to heat your car) . go and get it replaced. It cost me $400 in my '93 cadillac to have it replaced by a mechanic. if your car is less complicated, it will probably be a lot less.

If the temperature gauge shows normal and the heater blows cold air, then it is not the Thermostat but more likely an airlock caused by low coolant level, Bleed the system from the highest possible point. If the temperature is low, change the thermostat. If the heater does not blow, check the fuse, if not the fuse then it could be the motor, which is bad news on many vehicles, never done a Kia but some are absolute B******s needing the Dash board out for access.

First thing is to check your water/antifreeze level. If it is low your heater will not work. If it is not the water/antifreeze, then it could be a stuck thermostat or a heater core. Go to the auto parts store and they can show you where the thermostat is on your car. It only requires removing a couple bolts to change. A heater core will take a mechanic. Good luck.

Your heater coil's busted. Sorry to tell you you'll probably need a new one and they cost between $300 to $500.
