I am thinking about making a book about this wolf demon( think Inuyasha) who must save the world from a great evil. The problem is she doesn't want to do and if she does she will die. There is also a group of people known as the Renegades, they help keep the world in balance and make sure that no power is greater than the other. they mainly protect the Earth, Sky, and Sea. When the great evil appears in the world, the world turns into a place like Lord of the Rings. The demon, also, lost her family and many friends. The only family she has left is her older brother. That is the main story line. I have yet to come up with a name, so if you want to you can make some suggestions.

try making the wolf a shape shifter and whatever powers you want her to have may come and go according to what shape she has at the time. determine what period of time the story is to take place and if there is to be some " quirks " involved. there is nothing like a heroine falling for the evil person as an example.

Sounds like a good idea. It all depends on whether you can do the writing or not. I've read a lot of books that were based on good ideas but the author just could not make it work. Hope you can do it!

no matter what you write just remember to keep the characters motivation in mind... if she is going to die and has no one of value to save then why bother and just let the evil take her... what ever she does, always think back to why is she doing it, what is driving her to do it... and if you cant justify it, drop that part and find a new course for her to take, that is what keeps the focus of the reader... good luck sounds fun

yes and maybe you could make her one of the fallen angels who instead of accepting hell seeks redemption instead
