Are the letters and icons really tiny? It sounds like you changed the resolution on your screen. Right-Click anywhere on the desktop (but not an icon). Left-Click on Properties. On the Settings Tab, Slide the Screen Resolution to LESS. Pick what looks best and save. Voila

In windows full screen keybaord shortcut is ctrl+enter

I.E. hit control and enter at the same time
