1) Read the questions caerfully.
Now,
180/100 = 261 /x
180 is to 100 as 261 is to what number?
Use a ratio to compare the two,
26100/180=145
the rest of the questions are the same pretty much

1. Write this as 1.8*x = 261, so x = 261/1.8
2. 1488.24 = x * 689, so x = 1488.24/689, which will give you a number a little more than 2 (I'll let you use the calculator). But then the percent is x * 100.
3. 95.12 = 3.28*x Divide both sides by 3.28 to get x
4. 14 = .2 * x see #3 - the process is exactly the same

Set up a proportion (for #1)
261 180
__ = ___
x 100

Then cross multiply. and divide.
