I'm 37 yrs. old and have had ovary pain for about six years now, ever since my tubal ligation procedure, my period has not been the same. The pain goes into my groin area and down my right leg. The pain gets a little worse when I am on my period. Any ideas as to why? Any help/suggestions appreciated.

Have you been checked for cysts or endometriosis? I know ovarian cysts are common after tubal ligations. My wife has suffered from endometriosis and ovarian cysts (which now she's had surgery for) and had the same pain you are describing.

You could have ovarian cysts or endometriosis or tubal pregnancy even though you had them tied. IT could also be ovulation but you should get an ultrasound to make sure.

Wish I could help, but it sounds like you really need to talk to a doctor on that one.

maybe you have adhesions, which come from surgery, I had the same type of pain, but contributed it to a pulled muscle, it was adhesions.
