I have a new video card, (IBM Aptiva)new modem, new hard drive and have installed the drivers for the modem, video card and speakers and cannot connect to internet..and still cannot change to 256 colors. Using windows 98.:( Help!!?? Thanks.:) Sare

I sent Barrett G an email, basically saying, God bless you. I am learning to fix pc's, as it is my dream to be a tech..one day, so I ask for help and I very much appreciate the help I get here from people who are nice about it. Thanks so much!!!:)

in win 98 make sure that you only have one video card installed, if you have more than one uninstall them all and reinstall
