And never do end up with a shot on goal.

I don't like it when any team does it. Like Gretzky said, "100% of the shots I don't take will never go in."

The reason they pass on a power play situation is to 1. create confusion for the PK unit, opening up more passing lanes, 2. and to also get the goalie move, creating an incorrect angle. When that happens look for the PP unit to shoot.

its annoying if they never get a shot on goal...but with my team...the sabres...a lot of time they'll pass between the points a few times and end up with a great 1-timer or something like that

it gets annoying when you are down a goal or two especially...but i guess its just part of the game

although they should shoot a little more on the power play

You must be a Caps fan.

Yes, that is extremely annoying. Especially if you are talking about the Caps, where there last 3 coaches have been pass happy. It doesn't take 10 passes to create a shooting angle, and you don't have to be an NHL coach to figure that out.

YES! YES! YES! They are looking for that perfect shot but 90% of the time they'll never get it. Then the powerplay is over. I just want to jump onto the bench or thru the TV and slap them. SHOOT THE DAM PUCK!!!! YOU AIN'T GONNA SCORE IF YOU DON'T SHOOT!

As long as not one pass comes to an opponent, allowing the other team a shorthander...

I suppose they are waiting to deke a D man out so they can pass to an open man, even though there ALREADY IS ONE.
I share your pain.
