im a single 27yr old lad with no tie's currently working in a dead end factory job where the pay is good but has no prospects.im thinking about going to work offshore in the oil industry. is this a wise move if i pursue? p.s. got my offshore survival course very soon.

It sounds like you are in an ideal situation to work in tht industry as you have no ties and as someone in tht kind of work you are going to be away for anything from 1- 3 moths at a time.Hey lets face it the money is bloody fantastic.good luck enjoy
