the day after pill is a pill that you take to prevent pregnancy if you are not on birth control. say that you have unprotected sex one night and there is a chance you can get pregnant, the next day you take that pill to prevent pregnancy. but you can't just go buy it at the store you can only get it at the hospital and you have to have probable cause like rape.
