According to the new I hear and read, this is already happening. Sunni and shiite have been engaged in conflict with each other for over 2000 years. Nothing anyone could do will ever stop it.

The conflict between Shiites and Sunnis is currently a regional one. In Iraq, much strife emerged between Shiite and Sunni by Saddam's Baathist regime.
I do not think there will be a larger conflict in the Middle East, being that Sunnis are the majority in the region. I do think, however, as Iraqis flee Iraq to escape the war, the countries hosting refugees will be destabilized. In Lebanon, this certainly was the case in the seventies.

Once the US and Britain leave iraq which will be soon as we've lost the war the country will continue to tear itself apart. People say will Iraq descend into civil war when its already at that stage now, the death count speaks for itself.
The middle east would be better off if us westerners keep our noses well out of it all.

If that were true we would pull out now then go in to clean up the mess/ what a wonderful world it would be. I think both groups will continue to help fight against all kafir, unbelievers, until only they are left and then turn upon each other. Like we would let that happen. Maybe in the short term if we left they would fight but finnally they would ally

properly there is not any longer something you're able to do fairly, that's going to be going on continually, nonetheless i think of that's for the governments of the midsection east too handle this remember. those united states of america's are very non secular and faith regulations their daily lives, so too have somebody contradict your faith is amazingly offensive too them, they are divided in one islam area and yet another islam area. i do no longer see why they dont purely come mutually they are the two islamic! in spite of the incontrovertible fact that it relatively is up too their people and their governments.

Maybe your Hero, President Bush, should have thought of this possibility before he invaded Iraq, killed its leaders, destroyed its civil infrastructure and spent $400B in the process.
But at least you neocolonialists are starting to think, that is a good sign.
Good luck with your little war in Iraq, btw.
I won't say I warned you, even though I did.
