The term would be "menopausal" and it is all based upon hormonal imbalances. Women lose alot of our abilities to make natural estrogen while going through menopause and when you are being hit with a hot flash, and you are irritable and people are more on your nerves then trying to help, you would be mean to.

It is the equivalent to men being upset when they have gone without "some" for a period of time. The anger and irritabilty yall go through. Behavior-wise, not physically.

Not all women are affected as strongly, but when it's bad, it's like having a nasty headache all over your body.

Imagine yourself having that for several days and then think how you would feel..

Hormones, it's like a sequal to adolesence. Also, I think the older you get the less patience you have. Now get off my lawn!

Oh for crying out loud...the same reason horny, unsatisfied men act mean. It's fluctuating hormones.

They need hormone replacement, it is the hormones that balance mood.

mostly, they get a little hormonal taste of what men have to fight with all the time.
