Before anyone tries to criticize me, please let me state upfront that I don't advocate the use of marijuana and especially not during pregnancy. I have two friends that smoked marijuana moderately during their pregnancies and both of their children turned out fine.
With one of these friends it was interesting because, believe it or not, she was told by her doctor to smoke marijuana. My friend had developed a nervous/motor disorder during her pregnancy--she had facial tics and other random muscle spasms-- and her doctor actually told her that smoking marijuana was a safer alternative for her and the baby than the medications they could have prescribed her for epilepsy and tourette's syndrome. He told her that it wasn't something he wanted her to abuse, but if she would smoke a joint every other day then it would help her and would be safer than prescription medications. She didn't smoke it every other day, but maybe twice a week, and her daughter came out just fine. She was born on time and at a normal weight and now, almost four years later, she is developing just fine and is quite bright for her age.
Again, please note that I'm not advocating the use of marijuana during pregnancy.

on no account did. right it fairly is the hassle-free information: There are no longer any sparkling examine on how pot smokeing impacts an unborn fetus. there are different different chemical compounds in it that could impact an unborn baby alongside with insecticides for one occasion. Marijuana isn't composed of basically THC (the chemical that gets you "extreme"). There could be as much as 4 hundred different chemical compounds in it that's why no conclusive examine exist. The question isn't approximately what share did it and had healthful toddlers or why is it criminal to smoke cigarettes and not pot. The question is why could you even risk it?????

Wow, talk about starting the child abuse as early as possible...
As long as the umbilical cord is still uncut, whatever the mother gets, the child gets - even the pain-reducing meds, which is why some parents choose to go with natural childbirth.

not during child birth no. mary jane would have absolutely no effect on you during delivery, in terms of using it for the pain anyway. besides, getting high is the last thing you are thinking about during labor.
