I have looked into selling stuff on ebay. Looked at drop shippers and other items.

Most were already on ebay, for less than what my cost would have been. I looked at several wholesalers and dropshippers.

Many of the items had the auctions end with no bids, meaning the stuff wasn't selling.

It is very difficult, so many people already on there selling stuff.

Even collectables are difficult, usually there are only a handful fo people who will pay good money for items.

Good Luck in finding something that sells well, I haven't found anything yet.

Once you buy an item and then figure in the ebay fees, paypal fees plus your time, shipping supplies (free if you use priority mail in the US) and gas if you don't have the post office picking up your packages there's not much room for profit.

The most profitable items would be stolen. Zero cost basis means 100% profits!

You could also sell knock-off purses and designer items that you pretend are real so people overpay.

OK, I keed, I keed. Think about what items you might buy, or have an interest or knowledge about. If you don't know what's a good value for any range of items, you shouldn't sell them.
