Where in the human body does mitosis take place?

I know meiosis takes place in the sex organs but is there any other parts of the body it takes place?

Thanks.

Mitosis takes place in all somatic cells including zygotes (what sex cells turn into after the egg is fertilized). Meiosis only takes place in sex cells (PGC - primordial germ cells.. diploid cells which eventually turn into haploid after they go through meiosis) because meiosis is like two mitoses mixed up together so they could cut the chromosome number into half (after meiosis, the now haploid only has 23 chromosomes).

diploid = cell with 46 chromosomes
haploid = cell with 23 chromosomes
