Buy a dewormer specifically for ringworm, and give this to him as often as the instructions say.thats tp prevent further ringworm. also, get an anti-fungal cream at any pet/horse suppy store, this should clear up the ringworm on the surface. Have you been deworming him regularly? if not, that could be why he developed ringworm. they need a general deworming every 3 months or so, and that protects against most types of worms, although if he develops a special type of worm, u have to resort to a different dewormer

I've only dealt with ringworm once before, but my vet advised me to do the following and it worked like a charm. First you should clip the hair around the affected areas because ringworm feeds on the keratin in hair. Then spot bathe the area with a Betadine scrub to kill the fungus. Rinse the area with warm water. Next mix 2 tablespoons of white vinegar in about a quart of warm water and rinse the areas with this. The acid in the vinegar creates an environment that the fungus does not like to grow in. Then dry the area and apply an over the counter anti-fungal cream, applying daily for about a week. Keep the area dry and exposed to sunlight. Reduce the application of antifungal cream to every other day after the first week. In about 2 weeks it should be about cleared up and you should notice the hair growing back in the middle. Good luck!

When I worked at the vet...we used a medicine called Panalog Ointment. Since ringworm is a fungus, it can basically be treated with any anti-fungal cream found in stores.

Get special cream or shampoo for ringworm from the local tackshop or vet.

A simple anti-fungal cream! Buy it at any pharmacy! Over the counter! Cheap too!

(You can also use athletes foot cremes)

Good Luck
