That's what we named our first, thinking it was original. I love the name, but apparently, so do a million other parents with children under three. Perhaps you should wait a few years and name your next kid that, when it's gone out of style a little.

presonally my sister had a pomeranian names sophie and it made me think of a couch (like sofa) but then i found out it was my grandmothers middle name and i think it sounds sophisticated.

i am also having a little girl and that name was on my list but my stupid husband didnt like it!!i think its beautiful!!when i think of a little girl named that i see a sweet angelic child!great name!!
