I also got a new job and I REALLY need a PDA phone. I hate mine, its such a piece...is there ANYTHING I can do to get a different phone even though I just renewed my contract?

Well, you can buy one outright but you will pay dearly for it. You could also pickup a Cingular GoPhone (prepaid) and use up the time on the prepaid card and then pop in your contract SIM. You could also look for phones on eBay. They must also be Cingular, or other GSM 850/1900MHz phones that are unlocked, or ones that you feel you could unlock yourself.

I won't say eBay cuz they suck worse than cingular but buying another phone is your best option...personally I'm sad to hear you NEED to have a pda because i think they all suck ....over rated bulky and a pain to use....I like a cell phone and a laptop call me old fashioned. digging around in your pda is about as attractive as digging in your ear ..just cuz people are good at it doesn't make it alright...let the phone remain just that .... a phone...

I have verizon and i think that is a very good company! I don't have too many problems with it so i dont know too many about Cingular. But i think you can just cancel your contract at the end of the month?
