I've been on HRT for 1 1/2 years and I have a cold that won't go away. I've reduced my weekly shots by 1/3 in an effort to bolster my immune system, but the cold/sore throat is hanging on.

Actually recent research supports the fact that testosterone can have negative effects on the immune system.

Decreasing testosterone boosts immunity because testosterone helps control T-lymphocytes, the attack cells of the immune system, according to Mayo Clinic-led research in laboratory animals. The findings appear in the current edition of the Journal of Immunology.

Not really, testosterone is excellent for building the immune system.
