It is technically a literary analysis of Brave New World by Aldous Huxley, but specifically on why they banned literature in the book. My group has been searching all over for information on why books like 1984 by George Orwell, Uncle Tom's Cabin by Stowe, Fahrenheit 451 were banned from certain areas for periods of time. So thats part one. The other thing we were wondering was if there was a few specific instances that some sort of propaganda really influenced people. Any help would be so beyond appreciated!!!

A great example would be the Bible, banned in most regions of the world (think communist, atheist China), it has become more impiortant because it is outlawed.

Plus, this is thinking outside the box and you can find tons of examples

There's actually a Banned Books Week and it's crazy to see what books have been banned (or attempted). As for Brave New World (great book), its a post modern dystopian novel and that means that it could inspire way more disenchantment with today's society than happier books. There's the paranoia factor too. Fahrenheit 451 and 1984 are the same.

A county in South Georgia banned books just a few years ago, as a recent example. It occured in Valdosta, GA, in Lowndes County. A link to the local paper is included. Good luck!
