Discuss the extent to which cultures around the world have worshiped the sun as a deity throughout history. why do you think our star inspires such widespread veneration?

the sun, seen as a super natural by many culutres ancient and current!!! its in the sky it glows it gives life-heat etc... it is a visible verson of what gods do.... all cultures fom hellinstic to eastern and mayan to aztec and incan have worshipped the sun everyone of them in some way had 1 or more gods described as the sun caring it or it being something they provided...

The sun is the giver of life. If it disappeared today, within 6 months everything would be dead.
