and I cry easily, be it for happy or sad reasons... I feel completelly sapped out of energy and like a big lazy bum because of it. What do I do?

Take your prenatal vitamins, also ask your doctor for iron tablets. Eat right, do pregnancy exercises, and get plenty of sleep! Also your baby is taking all of energy away, because it helps the baby stay alert, and full of ''kicking" energy. And the reason that you cry so easily is because of hormones, whether you're happy, sad, or angry, your hormones have your emotions all out of balance, and may make you think that you're going crazy!

Buy a big box of Kleenex, some comfy PJs, hit the couch and roll with it. I felt exactly the same way, but I can tell you that now that my baby is 4 months old- I miss being able to sleep at will and be a lazy bum! Relish in it, cause those times are gonna be over for the next 18 years or so! Congratulations, too. And don't worry, there will be days here in the very near future that you get bursts of energy! Hang in there and remember to eat healthy! Congratulations!

Sounds like you need to give yourself permission to be a big lazy bum. Seriously! You're pregnant - be good to yourself! If you don't feel like doing a whole lot, then don't!
Take a day or two off and crash on the couch with a book or magazine. No guilt allowed!
Congrats!

i am also 6 months pregnant and feel that same way! it's COMPLETELY NORMAL. just remember to take your prenatal vitamins everyday and try to rest. if you don't have time for naps, just lay down for at least 20 minutes a day and relax. i thought exercising would make me more tired but it doesn't. i go on the treadmill for 30 minutes and it makes me feel better. if you don't have a treadmill just take a walk, it's really relaxing. hang in there!

Growing a whole other body inside yours will do that to you.

Relax, take deeps breaths, rest, and eat well. Get plenty of sleep.

I agree with what everyone else is saying. One more thing have your doctor check your blood you may be anemic. I had this problem my last trimester. It's an easy fix, just add more iron to your diet.
