My first visit they did a sono saying I was due Feb 20th. My next sono he said I was due like early March. That would had to mean I got pregnant in June which I wasn't even having sex. I went it again and he again told me another date he said I was off by almost 2 weeks. So this time I told him I can't be 27 to 28 weeks pregnant cuz I didn't have sex in June! He at first gave me this attitude crap saying 'well I guess it was a miracle'. He measured my tummy and everything and said you are 28 weeks. I told him noooo I am 29 weeks. So he gave in did another sonogram I was 29 weeks and possibly a few days. Tell him he needs to check again. Bother em. Drive them completely insane if you have to. They will do another one. Or of course you could just wait and see when you have the baby. Also your dr shoudn't change your due date after 20 weeks.

It's possible either one of you is wrong. You could have dilated at a different time that you thought and got pregnant at a different time. OR the doctor could only be going by baby size, and some women just have small babies. I would say let it go! That baby will come when it's darn good and ready. If it's Dec. 18th, so be it! If it's January....so be it! The baby won't wait for anyone! It's not at all uncommon to have your due date change during pregnancy. Mine changed three times! My daughter finally came 3 days after the last due date they gave me. I would have asked for another ultrasound though to check things out and have a Tech predict the gestational age at this point. Maybe call him and ask him if it's possible because it would make you feel better. If he says no (you don't want to pay out of pocket and you would have to if the doctor didn't order it) just wait it out! Good Luck!

That sounds weird. Did he give you an ultrasound to come up with that?
The same thing has happened to me but it was at the start of my pregnancy my due date was changed back by 5 weeks. But at least that was at the start of my pregnancy when the ultrasound is more accurate. But the doctor saying this to you this far along seems weird. I would go to another doctor/midwife and get there opinion.

See another doctor, this one sounds like a quack. Ultrasounds done in early pregnancy are the most reliable, if you had one ask for the results and go by your due date on that one. Yes, your doctor could be wrong, and it could mean the health of you and your baby. Good luck.

dont panic about this call and ask if he can check again!
stay prepared though for the 18th december. just in case!
your baby could just be smaller than normal remember though your baby will be born whenever and most of the time they are within two weeks either side of the due date.
she could arrive tommorrow, xmas or january 3rd!
good luck and get another check

I would assume he's backing this change up with the ultrasound you have at 20 weeks... Theres really no way for him to just up and change the due date like that without having measured the baby.
The online ovulation thing doesnt work unless you know the date of your LMP.

Honesty is always the best approach. Just tell him you're dealing with some personal issues and feel it would be best for you to postpone the meeting. You don't have to tell him what issues you have. He will probably understand and you can ease out of the online relationship by toning down your messages...don't lead him on because that is a hurtful thing to do to someone. Good luck!!

hm That is odd! Why would he change his mind this late in the pregnancy? Have you had an ultrasound to determine the gestational age?
