i like the christmas SEASON, because the stores have sales and everyone seems to be in a happy mood, once a cop let me go for speeding because it was christmas, and i dont even celebrate it!

I do love Christmas. My favorite thing is not getting gifts or the Christmas dinner. It is seeing (or hearing) how excited the grandchildren are. I have some that went to see "Santa" I ask them if I could go with them and sit on Santa's lap to tell him what I wanted for Christmas. My oldest granddaughter said "GRANDMA! YOU know there is no real Santa" And her younger brother(4 years old) said "Nope! You're too fat!" The other two girls just laughed at the idea of me sitting Santa's lap.
I am trying my best to convince them that they really need to keep an eye on their Mom. I told them the song "I saw Mommy kissing Santa Clause" Was written about their mommy! And since where I live there are woods around my house...that I see Rudolph all most every night. That you can see his nose shinning off in the distance. They know that I am teasing..but every year I try my best to convince them that I am telling them the truth. That is my joy...the kids. They love Christmas more than any other holiday.

I've said this before, not everyone believes in Christmas, but a good amount of people do believe in a day that cherishes peace and goodwill and Christmas usually tends to be that day.
"Christmas" is a state of mind and a nice majority of folks like to look at it as a day, or a month, to be extra nice to everyone around them.
...that's why I love Christmas.
...and because it's Christ's Birthday :)

when the Holiday is over because the Christmas season lasts so long get tired of all the hype connected with the greed of merchants.

I love Christmas because I LOVE buying things for other people, especially my little siblings, and watching their faces when they open them.

yes yes yes i love christas 4 soo many reasons 1 reason iz becuz i like 2 give presents the 2nd reason is becuz i like 2 rcive present but most importanty is becuz its Jesus birthday

I luv chirstmas because of my family, getting together making cookies. Decorating the tree! Its so fun. I luv the presents.
