Last year I slapped my wife in the butt really hard for talking back to me. She ended up calling the police for domestic assault and I had to spend the night in jail. That is pretty messed up right? Well, the other day she slapped me in the face and instead of me calling the police out I put her in the bedroom and made sure she didn't come out for 4 hours. I felt this was being nice considering that was a fraction of the time I spent in jail. Wasn't this more than fair and more than nice of me to only do this instead of having her put in jail like the police did me?

I think she only gave you a taste of what you deserve! You ought to be tied to a chair, so she can slap the **** out of you. Your legs should also be tied open so she can kick you in the nuts. That way we don't have to deal with trash like you in the gene pool. So instead of asking this dumb *** question you should be smashing your face in to the computer screen. Then you should find that poor, deserving girl you call your wife and apologize. And I don't mean fake it, I mean get on your knees and beg like the piece of **** you are. Then after you've cryed your heart out and told her she's the best thing you've ever had, THEN you should beg for a divorce so she can move on to the kind of man that she really deserves. The kind that will love her, care for her, and treat her like an angel just like every woman should be treated.
So get off the internet and off your computer and go beg for her forgiveness. After that's all done you might want to ask for absolution from some higher power because your chances of a decent afterlife are looking pretty slim, @$$hole!!

I think you guys need to just fight it out. Maybe both go to jail. Being sent to her room is useless. When I was little I was sent to my room for hitting people, then I jsut grew up and shot people. Getting sent to your room teaches nothing. You need jail time to learn. Unless you're like me, I've been to jail several times and I still shoot people. But I've stopped hitting them, that's just screwed up. I learned my lesson from jail, but not for shooting yet.
And so what if you've posted this question many times, you need the right answer and hopefully I've given you that.

You hit smacked her butt, what's the big deal. I smack people's butts all the time.
These people answering are friggin stupid.

MORE HITTING MORE JAIL TIME MORE SHOOTING MORE DEATH MORE FUN!!!!!!!!!!!

Is your wife 12? And what the hell are you thinking hitting her in the first place. Remember, that's in the past. Communication is my word de jour. You guys have to TALK, TALK, TALK. It probably wasn't fair. But neither one of you should be hitting the other. If talking doesn't help get a 3rd party YOU TRUST involved and darn it, talk some more. You both have conflicting feelings and you have to get these out in the open. PS, try to remember why you fell in love with her in the first place.

Slapping you was wrong but you are not her father and have no right to making her stay in the room. You two should respect each and talk things out. Next time I would leave the house to cool off.

Next time, I hope she slaps your face with a Louisville Slugger. Check the date, filthy wife beater, it's 2006. Archie Bunker and Rick Turner died years ago. Get some help. Any chance you come from the far East?

Ummm, slapping her for talking back IS domestic assault. I suggest letting her out of the bedroom before you get arrested again.

what? is she 6 years old? sent her to your room? if that was abuse for you to do it, then you should have called the police on her, maybe she would have thought a 2nd time the next time she did it, as I am sure you have thought at least twice before slapping her again

u make me laugh on u both, as if u re playing the game of slapping. i can not imagine husband slaps her wife and vice versa. u should watch the movie of " MR. AND MRS. SMITH", OK, Ur punishment saying that u re more permissive, but try not to slap her, so, she ll not do the same. slapping is goood, wish my husband slaps me one day, i ll kiss him so strongly, go and sleep with her. be so romantic, and stop slapping .

She isn't your child. You can't send her to her room. The fact that she did it is a little scary to me. You shouldn't slap her for any reason even talking back to her. You aren't her father. Sounds like you have an unhealthy relationship to me and maybe you should both get help.

No, it wasn't better to lock her in a room! If you want to be fair, just call the police! Then you can both be put away!
