Don't ask stupid questions. Who says they can't. You're both concenting adults are you not? The thing is, you both have to be aware of your differences. You both have to be aware of sacrifices you will have to make. You both have to be aware of your own sense of self. You lose that, and you've had it. It's not going to be ease - but life isn't easy. A happy marriage? You have got to be kidding me!!! The ONLY happiness there is if the 65 year old has a BIG bank account, a mansion, expensive cars, otherwise it just ain't gonna work, I mean, what does a 22 year old have in common with anybody 65??

My husband is 9 years older than me and I have a lot more energy and passion that he does, now imagine a 22 with a 65? They can be happy in a father-daughter relationship, but energy levels, goals, point of views, cultur everything is going to be different and no, I do not think that can work.

I suppose it could happen, but I doubt it would be a traditional marriage. Still, if the arrangement works for both and no one is getting hurt-go for it.

maybe not marriage but dating I,m sure it happens all the time you just don,t see it in the open there are a lot of older guy es that are real smooth I,ve seen this happen many times don,t laugh

Not sure I understand the attraction, however if two aduts have good communication and passion for each other then any relationship can be successful.
