lol I thought you meant the people watching the movie-I always get stuck behind some tall person with a big head....
from reading the other answers I guess you mean the actors-um I dont know, I've never noticed :D

Generally speaking yes. If indeed you are referring to the actors & actresses. Most of them are taller than the average person.

They do look that way on the huge screen...in fact Tom Cruise looks like he is 6' 5' almost...LOL
