This is the first year I have done a "themed" tree. I have:
red, gold, white, and glass.
Red bows made from wire edged ribbon, white bows (same thing), red shiny balls, white glittery balls, gold shiny balls, red tassels, clear glass balls, clear glass cyrstals that hang from the tips, and white lights. So for everyone loves it. It's very sparkly!

I have a food-themed tree. There are so many beautiful blown glass ornaments in the shapes of fruits and vegetables. My best friend always does an animal themed tree, which is also beautiful.

Hmm...traditional green tree.Maybe a white tree with icesicles and blue lights with blue bulbs. You can make the popcorn string garland. You can have a tree with just lights and nothing else.If you are really daring and not traditional you can use a palm tree as a christmas tree and have fake fruit in place of lights and bulbs.Or you can get a pvc pipe about 6 ft tall and buy a bunch of green plastic toy balls and attach them to the pole-that's cool and different. To have a nature-like tree instead of putting lights and bulbs you can put twigs and pinecones and fake berries and fake birds.Good luck!

I have seen Christmas trees with themes ranging from colors to a religion to a movie. My personal favorites: angels, red and gold, Santa theme, Star Wars theme, Charlie Brown theme, crosses theme, and a white/silver/gold themed tree (they combined this with angels, and it was really beautiful).

I don't do a "theme" I just get balls and ornaments that I like and put them on the tree; looks like you have had some of them for years and that they were passed down to you from your family.
