Bi-polar depression is seen in people who have very high positive moods contrasted with very low, depressed moods and a resistance to taking the medicine needed to regulate these major swings. Don't confuse it with post-partum depression, which will usually pass more quickly than bi-polar. Please research it more and see a doctor if you think you have it. Be cautious in getting romantically close with someone who has it. It takes a big toll on relationships and has broken up many marriages.
