you plug the of the cord on the back of an older tv with an atenna reciever. not all newer tvs have these so u might have trouble. and the other plug you put into a power strip or outlet.

This is the original Sega Genesis you have there. They actually came out with 3 versions. They all played the same games, but they took different cords and adapters. The original, like yours is, has a built in RF modulator. I took a quick look at eBay and the bulk of the RF switches on there are for the newer Sega Genesis' which do NOT have a built in RF modulator thus aren't what you need. You can actually make this work very cheaply. You can use a standard TV coax cable and get a female F to male RCA adapter from radio shack. This will cost under $5. Radio Shack used to carry a game switch but I believe it has been discontinued. That was a bit more expensive, but you could have your TV cable and game system hooked up at the same time. Try your luck at your local Radio Shack and see if they still have one in stock. If not, try Best Buy or Circuit City.

what are you asking exactly? If you want to know what cords you need, Go to ebay & look for a RF OUT CABLE for a sega genesis, that will hook you system to your tv. As far as hooking it all up, there should be a spot on the back that says ac.... your power cord goes there. The rf out cable goes into the hole marked RF OUT. the ch 3 ch 4 is to decide what channel to set yout tv at. Hope this helps.... good luck
